Each experience featured on our website www.magicbox.com.sg is provided by independent Service Providers on their own terms and conditions and is made available to our customers on our terms and conditions set out herein.
Magicbox acts as an agent for businesses that provide lifestyle and recreational services to customers (“Service Providers”). Magicbox is not a provider of such services or experiences and has no responsibility for any services or experiences provided or not provided by the service provider or any other party. The Service Providers provide services directly to customers. Magicbox makes no warranty or representation regarding the standard of any service to be provided. All Magicbox, Gift Certificates are issued subject to the terms and conditions of each service provider and these Magicbox terms and conditions. We do not control the business operations of any service provider.
We have selected all the experiences featured on our website to provide an exciting range of memorable experiences. However, there are certain limitations on the services we offer and certain restrictions on our liability to our customers or their recipients. We ask you therefore to read the terms and conditions carefully.
Magicbox has no liability for any act, omission or default, whether negligent or otherwise of any service provider or third party. Magicbox has no liability for any loss or damage occasioned by any negligent act or omission of any service provider or third party. Where Magicbox’s liability cannot be excluded, such liability is limited to the value of the Gift Voucher purchased.
When a voucher is used to make a specific booking with a certain service provider you and your recipient will then become subject to the terms and conditions of business of that service provider. We may provide details of specific relevant elements of those terms and conditions on our website but you and your recipient should make your own independent enquiries of the service provider as to the Terms and Conditions which will govern the provision by them of the particular experience to you or your recipient.
Descriptions, Location and Timing
The description of the experience contained in our website is correct to the best of our knowledge at the time but we reserve the right to make changes to the program applicable to any experience without notice where such alterations have been imposed by the service provider. This does not affect your statutory rights.
Where the length of an experience is mentioned in our website, this is an approximate time and given as a guide only. Unless specifically stated otherwise by us or by the service provider, you will normally take your turn along with other members of the public and there may be waiting time involved.
The photos on our website depict an image typically associated with or representative of the experience being provided. Inclusion of such photos does not mean that we warrant in any way that each experience will include any or all of the features depicted.
The very nature of our experiences means that some personal risk may be involved in taking part in the activities we offer and you should be aware of this when ordering. Many Service Providers require signature of a disclaimer before they will allow participation. We strongly advise you or your recipient to consider effecting your own insurance cover.
Prices of experiences are inclusive of Goods and Services (or at any other prescribed rate that may pertain at the time of booking). All Gift Certificates are valid for twelve months from date of purchase.
Magicbox Gift Certificates may be redeemed against any experience selected from participating Service Providers as detailed on our website www.magicbox.com.sg
Health and Age Requirements
Wherever appropriate we have detailed specific health, age or competency requirements insofar as known to us for each experience described on our website. We ask you to read the details of the selected activity carefully to ensure that you are aware of all such requirements. If you are in any doubt as to the suitability of an experience for you or your recipient please call us for advice.
Availability & Cancellation
All experiences are offered subject to availability (and weather conditions on the day) and there can be no guarantee that a particular date will be available or that it will not have been withdrawn by the service provider. Bookings will be carried directly with Service Providers and you are advised not to make move from your place or other arrangements until they confirm your booking.
When a Magicbox Gift Voucher is presented for goods and services and a booking with a participating service provider confirmed, the Magicbox Gift Voucher will be redeemed and the appropriate funds debited from your gift voucher account. Any subsequent cancellation of the booking by the beneficiary or participant may result in part or full loss of those funds previously debited.
Should a rescheduled booking be permitted, it will be so entirely at the discretion of the relevant Service Provider and subject to their terms and conditions of business.
Many of our Service Providers are subject to statutory rules and regulations in the provision of their services and all say that they observe the highest standard of safety for the experience featured. However, we cannot and have not undertaken any physical examination of the equipment, facilities or staff provided in connection with the supply of any of the experiences by the independent service provider. Inclusion of such experiences on our website does not therefore mean that we warrant in any way either the safety standards of or satisfactory performance by any of the featured Service Providers.
All Our Magicbox gift certificate contain a code which is evidence of a payment for a given experience. You can always check your online account that will detail your order validity and expiry date, one year from your purchase date. Redemption dates must be made direct with Service Provider before voucher expiry or the voucher will cease to be valid.
Magicbox Gift Certificates are sent by email when an e-gift option is selected and are dispatched by postal service when requested physical box. The purchaser will always receive an order confirmation and will be able to check their order is their online account, if this has been created successfully.
If you have a problem or a complaint on the day of your experience, please bring this to the Service Provider’s attention immediately so that issues may be addressed on the spot, where possible.
If you have any complaint concerning the service you have received from one of our Service providers we would like to know about it. Please write to us with your complaint and we will take the matter up with our service provider formally on your behalf. All complaints must be made in writing.
